The Achilles Pendant from Hudson Valley takes a 1950s French design and trades its green glass for clear acrylic, surrounding a smooth opal matte diffuser shaped as a simple cylinder. Three slender pins hold the diffuser in place, giving the larger fixture a crisp, floating look. Available in aged brass or polished nickel, it has the presence to anchor a dining table, kitchen island or entry while staying light on the eye.
