Palampores, or tree-of-life patterns have origins in India, where the exotic designs were hand painted & mordant dyed - then exported to Europe & England for use as elaborate bed hangings & curtains. Scalamandre's timeless tree-of-life print, Pondicherry, is offered in rich blues on cream crackled porcelain for today's classic interior. The grand scale of the exotic tree is softened with finely detailed flowers & foliage & is accented with small birds & animals. This is typical of this historic & favored fabric design. The large lamp is accented with solid brass hardware with highlights of chocolate brown on the glazed porcelain.

- All Sales of Port 68 pieces are FINAL. ALL ITEMS MUST BE INSPECTED AT TIME OF DELIVERY & all damages per Port 68 must be noted on the carrier's bill of lading & photographed at time of delivery before the driver leaves the delivery location. If damages are not noted at this time Port 68 will assume damages occurred while in possession of the customer & NO CLAIMS WILL BE HONORED. For any returns of defective / damaged / wrong shipped pieces, a return authorization is required prior to returning. Such items must be in original condition, shipped back in Port 68 packaging, showing no signs of wear. If items are not returned in original Port 68 boxes return authorizations will not be accepted & no credit will be given.
