Imitating a spike of aged wood takes great skill because nuance is required to echo the true character of woodgrain and decomposition. Fortunately our artisans are very adept at it. The Large Plinth Sculpture is one example, as it is made of composite and then hand-finished in a silver leaf that has great patina. We also offer the Plinth in medium and small sizes. Knots, gouges, small cracks & nail holes are inherent characteristics of many wood products & DO NOT constitute damage/defects. All metal will have welding marks since all items are made by hand. All metal, wood & Stone is unique & variations in color, shape & size are to be expected. All upholstered items are hand woven and will have some sort of minor imperfections. Due to the nature of handcrafted products, dimensions, details & / or colors represented may vary. The antique / one of a kind product may vary significantly, & any differences in sizing, shape, color to these one-of-a-kind pieces DOES NOT constitute damages & will not be accepted to be returned.
