Temba is a traditionally-inspired collection of transferware. Cream crackle porcelain is the background for the process of using a decal in color with the neutral background of ceramics. The process was originally done in England in the mid-18th century to transfer or copy from an engraved copper Chinese-patterned plate. Transferware was a way to bring the look of expensive hand-painted pottery & dinnerware to the middle class in England. - All Sales of Port 68 pieces are FINAL. ALL ITEMS MUST BE INSPECTED AT TIME OF DELIVERY & all damages per Port 68 must be noted on the carrier's bill of lading & photographed at time of delivery before the driver leaves the delivery location. If damages are not noted at this time Port 68 will assume damages occurred while in possession of the customer & NO CLAIMS WILL BE HONORED. For any returns of defective / damaged / wrong shipped pieces, a return authorization is required prior to returning. Such items must be in original condition, shipped back in Port 68 packaging, showing no signs of wear. If items are not returned in original Port 68 boxes return authorizations will not be accepted & no credit will be given.
- Unless the item shipped by Port 68 is the wrong item, Port 68 does not accept any returns. Customer remorse is not a valid return reason per Port 68 & returns will not be accepted for this reason nor will any credits be given.
