eichholtz-raymond-bench
Raymond Bench

Metal zig zag springs in a bench are unusual, and they change the sit completely.

Most benches are foam over a rigid platform or webbing, giving a firm, flat surface. Springs let the seat yield progressively as weight is applied, so this behaves like a sofa cushion rather than a padded plank. On a piece 55.12 inches long that people perch on to put shoes on or sit along at the end of a bed, that difference is felt immediately.

At 23.62 inches deep it is broader than most benches too - deep enough to sit properly rather than balance on the edge. The oak veneer base gives a warm, visible frame beneath the upholstery instead of hiding it. Brooklyn sand is 95% polyester with 5% acrylic rated at 65,000 Martindale rubs, comfortably durable for daily use, with pilling resistance at 4 of 5. Foam runs 36 kg per cubic metre. Carries 440.92 lbs, CAL-117 compliant, no assembly required.

Contemporary Style

Finish: Brooklyn sand, oak veneer

Material: Plywood, Polyurethane foam, Dacron, Metal zig zag springs, Fabric, Nylon webbing

Dimensions: 17.72"H x 55.12"W

For indoor use in dry locations only

Fabric composition: 95% polyester, 5% acrylic, 65,000 Martindale rubs

Maximum weight load: 440.92 lbs

Product weight: 55.10 lbs

1-Year Limited Warranty

This product is not eligible for return or exchange unless there is a defect
